Lisa Jackson, of the Environmental Protection Agency was in Portland recently for the “River Rally”, a gathering of of river activists, where she was interviewed by Scott Learn of the Oregonian. This conference was put on by the River Network and the Waterkeeper Alliance so most of it involved cleaning up our Nation’s rivers and other waterways, but she also was able to touch on a few more relevant issues.
Click Here for her thoughts on green infrastructure and what still needs to be done in cities across America.
We at Greensulate are happy to see green roofs becoming a much more prevalent way of mitigating storm water runoff!
