Live From the High Line

Most people here in NYC have enjoyed a stroll on the ever expanding High Line, a park constructed above an old elevated train line on Manhattans West Side.  What most people do not know is that the technology used to create this aerial oasis is the same technology used to construct Green Roofs.  We ran across this walking tour of the High Line this morning, if you aren’t from the city, this is an amazing way to see the sights along the walk!  Click here for a leisurely stroll through the park, reminding everyone that spring is around the corner.

As part of Greensulate’s long range plan, we hope to install many green roofs along this “green belt”.  This will give bio-diversity a chance to thrive in the neighborhood, with many green areas for birds, insects, and plants to live, feed, and reproduce.

Green Roof Overlooks High Line

This project, installed last spring on West 20th street is a great example of this plan in action.  This green roof looks down on the High Line, and many other great candidates for future projects.
