NY Post Office Installs 2nd Green Roof

The U.S. Postal Service has installed its second green roof, totaling 11,300 square feet in Upstate New York as a part of the Save the Rain initiative.

This fits in nicely with the USPS goal of cutting energy use by 30% by 2015 and greenhouse gas emissions 20% by 2020.

It is great to see the postal service following up on their initial project in New York City and becoming more sustainable as a whole.  For the full article, see here.
