Reminder – Greensulate Accepting Internship Applications

Greensulate, the premier designer/installer of green roofs in New York City, is looking for summer interns during the busy summer green roofing season.  Interns will be responsible for meeting daily in the office or on the job site and helping to install and maintain green roofs throughout New York City.  Interns will work closely with certified Green Roof Professionals (http://greenroofs.org/index.php/eduprogram/grnroofpro-grp/accreditationfaqs) to learn the basic elements of green roof design and installation.  Green roof learning seminars are also included.  Through this process team members will learn the best practices of green roofing as well as the roofing, engineering and horticultural elements.

Requirements:

- Must be willing to work in a physically demanding environment.

- Team player who excels in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment.

- Background or interest in green roofing.

- Experience with landscaping or construction preferred.

-Experience with Photoshop, AutoCAD, sketch up a plus.

This internship will take place over 2-4 months during the summer of 2012.  This is an unpaid internship and we encourage students to seek course credit for the work completed during the summer. Interns will be reimbursed for an unlimited monthly MTA card during their time on the job.
